The flower of December is Poinsettia.

Poinsettia, which is commonly used as a Christmas decoration, is said to have various colors such as white, pink, and yellow beside red.

When Poinsettia gets exposed to a lot of sunlight, and the stronger the sunlight, the redder it is.

However, if you go indoors and block sunlight, it has the property of returning to green again.

A poor girl in Mexico couldn't prepare a gift to celebrate the birth of baby Jesus, so she broke the Poinsettia blooming on the side of the road and made a wreath and put it on the altar, but the leaves turned red. 

There is a story that people who were moved by the appearance have since decorated Poinsettia on Christmas and have become Christmas flowers.

It means "bless you" and "congratulations with a warm heart."
